MAKING CLOSET DREAMS A REALITY
Luxury closets have become a mainstay of pop culture and entertainment, namely reality TV. We’re always watching for fabulous spaces that give a more intimate look into the lives of celebs. Reality stars often give a glimpse into their private homes, and today I want to round up a few of our favorite reality TV clients to share what makes their closets so special!
KRIS JENNER
The queen of reality TV herself, and matriarch of the Kardashian empire, Kris came to us a few years back to create her dream dressing room, which would go on to be showcased on “Keeping Up” as one of her most enjoyed spaces in the home. TV-worthy dressing rooms are definitely something aspirational, and Kris’ was no exception, with custom finishes throughout, and her fabulous wardrobe on full display. The space was refined, yet glamorous, with Hermes wallpaper, mirrored accents, and suede-lined storage throughout.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN
Khloe Kardashian is known for her quick wit and great style, as seen on her family’s namesake show. Separate from that, she’s carved out quite a social media following for her fitness and lifestyle routines! When she approached us to design a fitness closet, that would help organize her gear and keep her motivated, little did we know it would become such a fan favorite! Khloe’s fitness closet has become one of the all time most referenced and shared projects when we meet clients looking for inspiration. The satisfying array of sneakers, Fiji fridge, and modern aesthetic make this closet any gym junkie’s dream.
BRAD GORESKI
You may know Brad from “The Rachel Zoe Project”, “ Fashion Police”, or his latest reality TV role on “The Real Friends of WeHo”. He’s one of the most infectious personalities, and has a playfully dapper sense of style. Brad wanted to refresh his dressing room for a more modern look, in anticipation of a shoot with Architectural Digest. The space presented a few challenges, as the closet was completely open to the primary bath. To achieve this, we decided to embrace a minimal look, with floating shelves, a dark stained wood finish, and chrome / mirror accents to really brighten up the room!
CHRISHELL STAUSE
“Selling Sunset” star, Chrishell wanted to transform her newly purchased home to fit her needs, which meant carving out a girl-cave where she could dress, hang out, and have her glam team! Ultimately, this meant knocking down walls and transforming an adjacent bedroom into the dressing room of her dreams. The space features a feminine blush pink palette, pink onyx and marble accents, and a custom reeded vanity with oversized lighted mirror to really take center stage in the room!
DORIT KEMSLEY
Doris approached us to explore options for her dream closet in her new Encino home! Prominently featured on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, Dorit’s wardrobe leaves nothing to be desired. She has a playful and fashion-forward sense of style, and needed a closet to match. We crafted a few options that could take the space to the next level, even considering opening up the ceiling into an open attic above for a massive two-story dressing room. Ultimately, she opted to make some personalized upgrades to the existing space, and get the closet organized to work better for her needs, but it’s a great exercise to see what can really be done with a space if you want to turn a house into your forever home!
