BEAU DUNN CLOSET REVEAL
I’m SO excited to finally be able to reveal the closet we recently created for artist-influencer Beau Dunn in her Beverly Hills home! The ultimate labor of love, this closet was made possible through a collaboration with The Container Store Custom Closets, a first-ever for me! Together with Beau’s own favorite pieces and incredible artwork we were able to really bring her closet dreams to life. Once an over-stuffed spare bedroom full of rolling garment racks, this space was long overdue for Beau’s fabulous wardrobe!

The closet features ample space for Beau’s colorful clothing and accessories, a space to showcase one of her custom signature neon signs, and a glamorous athletic closet! Because Beau’s style is so colorful and eclectic, we wanted to keep the closet very neutral and feminine. Using the “Laren” line from Container Store Custom Closets, we were able to incorporate more traditional drawer profiles in keeping with the style of her home, as well as bronze-finished hardware, a pull-out mirror, and loads of LED lighting! In the main dressing space, we chose a beautiful chandelier from Restoration Hardware to fit the French country style of the house. Below, a tufted velvet ottoman makes the space feel instantly more inviting and luxurious. We also wanted to make sure to create plenty of opportunities for Beau to accessorize with her own artwork, and the pieces she collects! There are two bureaus in the closet which give her plenty of space to style and play, injecting tons of personality (as if the clothes don’t already speak for themselves)!

With everything the world is going through in 2020, I felt the neon that would be most appropriate, and that I would like seeing as a reminder every day was ‘NEED MONEY FOR LOVE.’”
We chose to organize the wardrobe by color and occasion. You’ll find hanging areas for formal gowns, fashion-forward pieces, sequined items, colorful suiting and more! Just to the right of the main dressing room, we converted what was once the small walk-in for this spare bedroom into an extension of the closet — an athletic closet! Here, Beau can store all of her winter travel items, ski clothes, racing, workout, and more. Seeing as her entire collection was so beautiful and impressive, the athletic items are no exception, and we wanted to create a home for them!
