HOW TO SPEND MOTHER'S DAY IN LA

Spring in LA is in full swing, and Mother's Day is just around the corner!

When I'm not drowning in dressing room madness and helping my clients get their closets in order, I am on full-time Mom duty! While fashion and furniture might get me fired up, nothing fulfills me like spending time with my son. Whether it's a weekend away or a casual afternoon around town, I love any opportunity to see the world through the Kai's eyes. He keeps me young, and keeps me laughing!

In anticipation of Mother's Day, these are a few of my all-time favorite ways to wind down as a family! Wether you're looking for a foodie outing or a fun-filled sports day, these are the little moments that make being a mother so special.

GAME DAY:

Nothing says quality time to me like a high-energy game of basketball, cheering on Kai at one of his games (He's been playing since he was 6!), or sharing a spot in the stands with him at the Staples Center to watch the Clippers or Lakers!

MUSEUM DAY:

If you're in the mood for a more mellow Moms' day, you can't beat a nice brunch and a day at the Broad. Soak up some culture at LA's newest modern art museum, then head next door for some Californian cuisine at Otium!

LAZY LA DAY:

Family time doesn't have to mean leaving the neighborhood. With Mother's Day falling on a Sunday this year, it's the perfect opportunity to stroll through the Studio City Farmer's Market! Mama Musubi's rice balls are always a hit, and who doesn't to snack while they shop on a Spring day in LA?!
