DESIGNER DIGS: ANINE BING
As many of you know, I often look to designer boutiques for closet inspiration! These spaces reflect an ideal balance of aesthetics and function, and attention is paid to every detail so as to ensure an enjoyable experience. Designers are constantly revamping these spaces to keep up with their current collections and current inspirations, so I thought why not go straight to the source?! Enter Anine Bing, CEO and Designer for her namesake label, who let me pick her brain about style and organization, and opened up her home for an exclusive look at the most personal of merchandised spaces - her closet.
HOW DOES YOUR CLOSET REFLECT YOUR STYLE AS A DESIGNER?
"It's all aligned and reflective of who I am as a designer and person... my taste.
It's light-filled and streamlined.
I know where everything is... super organized... not cramped and cluttered.
It's an edited closet and it's got all the great classics and basics we make at ANINE BING: killer leather, killer denim, crisp blazers, piles of fresh white tees, studded ankle boots... all the essentials."

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM CLOSET...
"I have it currently!"
"Bright, light, open...somewhere you can see everything and have a window to the outside world so it feels like a homey little room. An area for jewelry and a candle and some memories. It's the perfect place to get dressed. Inspiring, not cramped, and organized and efficient. I love it."
